SIH offers a loan forgiveness program for positions that are outlined as “hard to fill.” These areas currently include: RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Pharmacist, Special Procedures Tech, Ultrasound Tech, Nuclear Medicine Tech. This program is for candidates that have outstanding loans and have accepted a “hard to fill” position with SIH. The length of the work agreement is dependant on the amount awarded to the recipient. Candidates must complete an application packet and an interview for the loan forgiveness program. Application packets are available in the Corporate Employment Office. No more than 5 loan forgiveness awards will be granted system-wide each year (January 1st-December 31st). This program is available to full time employees only.
